Get to Vista Las Islas from San José

The easiest way to get from the capital city San José to Paquera is the following: Drive on the new motorway (number 27) from San José to Puntarenas. This ride will take you approximately 1,5 hours. In Puntarenas you can take the ferry “Naviera Tambor” from Puntarenas to Paquera where you can enjoy a 70 minutes boat ride across the Gulf of Nicoya. On this scenic and relaxing trip you see the different islands of the Gulf, various bird species and with a bit of luck you may even spot a school of dolphins. Once at the ferry landing station in Paquera, Hotel Vista las Islas is only a 7 minutes drive away. To find the right way to the hotel is very simple as our hotel signs will guide you the way. The driveway to the hotel will be on the left-hand side. At the hotel itself we offer free parking for guests.
